Jean Guy Honoré is a physician, Obstetrician-Gynecologist, with training in Public Health, Reproductive Health and Colposcopy.
Dr. Honoré has been a Guest Speaker at Christianville University from 2010 to 2016 and at Tulane Summer School in Port-au-Prince from 2014 to 2016. He has also been an attending physician at the OB-GYN department of the Haiti State University Hospital (HUEH) where he mentored residents and interns for over 15 years. From 2010 to 2011, he was one of the distinguished clinical mentors at ITECH Haiti. Upon his return after his studies at Tulane University, he continued mentoring residents at HUEH.
Dr. Honoré is an active scholar. Being both an attending physician at HUEH and co-Investigator in recent researches conducted in Haiti, Dr Honoré is very involved in Public Health in Haiti. His last investigation was a pilot curriculum in dating violence prevention in high school students in Haiti. From the results, in 2016, he published with Dr Gage an article in the Journal of Communication in Healthcare. Before that, in 2012, he published with Linda Marc “Uptake to HIV Post-Exposure Prophylaxis in Haiti: Opportunities to Align Sexual Violence, HIV PEP and Mental Health" in the American Journal of Reproductive Immunology.
